Optical clocks steering TAI

The LNE-OP SrB clock, located in Paris, has achieved a 1 year series of calibration of the international atomic time (TAI), between April 2025 and April 2026, with a total uncertainty on the order of 2×10⁻¹⁶. This is a major step towards the redefinition of the SI second. These contributions are published in the BIPM’s circular T, and summarized in the graph available at the BIPM website
